Trade Facilitation Office (TFO) Canada is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve lives by creating sustainable trade partnerships for exporters from developing countries with Canadian and foreign buyers. TFO Canada assists Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and Trade Support Institutions (TSIs) from developing countries to access international markets through information, advice and contact services. Canada-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement
Government of Canada, February 2025 – On December 2, 2024, Canada’s Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, Mary Ng, and Indonesia’s Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, signed a joint statement announcing conclusion of negotiations for a Canada-Indonesia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and committed to sign the CEPA in 2025. Canada-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement
Government of Canada – On November 16, 2021, Canada and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) agreed to undertake free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations. According to the 2018 Joint Feasibility Study for a Canada-ASEAN FTA, the economic modelling projects that an FTA could increase Canada’s GDP by US$2.54 billion and boost exports to ASEAN countries to US$2.67 billion. Canada and ASEAN have held 9 rounds of negotiations.
